Vera Troshneva About myself

I was born on December 5th in 1968 in Saint-Petersburg. I started to study music from the age of four. In 1983 I complited a music school majoring in the piano and the organ. In 1989 I finished the Musorgsky Music college as a musicologist, pianist and a teacher of music theory and the piano. I graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory with honours and obtained a Master’s degree in composition. I studied music with professor of music Yury Falik.

I have been teaching music( the piano, organ, theory etc.) at music schools and colleges for 15 years. I have a great experience in teaching private lessons using my own original method of teaching little children from 3 years old on. I was working as a pianist with singers and instrumentalists,as well with in ballet dancing studios and theatres.

I am very good at reading music at sight, improvisation, playing by ear. As a profesional composer I’m skilled at writing music in any genre(from song to symphony)and for any cast of performers. Besides I can arrange for amateur and semi-profesional bands and do it with a great pleasure.
